Stallion sport club is a non-profit sports organization, located in the West of Montreal. Stallion is a dynamic and ambitious club just like its members. It offers a chance to youth aged 12 to 17 to discover basketball and volleyball, in competition and leisure.
Stallion Sport Club is a non-profit organization made up of competitive and recreational (development) teams. We offer young people the opportunity to learn to play and improve their performance in a friendly and fun atmosphere while transmitting our values of respect and discipline. It offers a chance to young people aged 12 to 16 to discover basketball and volleyball, in competition and in leisure.
Our club strives to support our young people to have better technique in basketball and volleyball. To do this, the club helps athletes develop a good base, improve their performance, train better teamwork and promote good physical conditioning.
That’s not everything! The Stallion club supports young athletes to continue to have a good life ethic by transmitting respect and honesty, encouraging a positive attitude, learning to collaborate and developing good self-confidence.
Competitive teams are formed at the start of the season and are made up of 9 to 12 players.
The evaluation criteria are as follows: physical development, mastery of technique and the attitude of the players.
The selected players represent the club at various tournaments throughout the year.
Development teams benefit from training supervised by a coach. The objective is to allow them to complete their learning of technical skills and game situations while introducing them to competition in the civilian circuit. It is an excellent complement to practice. Young people will have the opportunity to improve their performance and will thus be able, over time, to participate in tournaments.
